Volunteer: Learn how to administer a CRM (donor database system) and help a great cause

Blessons for Women (Blessons, NFP) provides free mentorship, educational workshops and wellness clinics for all women, in addition to scholarships to disadvantaged, low-income women who are 25 years or older and who have had their higher education interrupted due to challenging life lessons such as; cancer, mental illness, physical or emotional abuse, sex trafficking or who are first generation female immigrants.

Are you looking to gain real-world experience in sales or business development? Volunteer with Blessons for Women once a week and learn how to use a CRM system - Salesforce to track contacts and donors, read reports, and cultivate new contacts.

About The Position

We are seeking 2-3 volunteers to help us get our donor database system - Salesforce NPSP up and running. In this position you will enter contact data into our donor database, identify connections and perform some research.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old

  • Detail Oriented

  • Comfortable with digital communication

  • Positive attitude

  • Able to understand directions

  • Comfortable using a PC

  • Familiarity with computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel etc.

Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in building a non-profit resume to work with passionate professionals and enjoy a real opportunity to make a difference for women living with challenging life lessons and are turning wounds into wisdom. We're looking for a commitment of 10-15 hours a week. Start and end dates are flexible, but we ask that you commit to at least a 5-month internship time frame for Spring or Fall semester or a 3-month internship time frame for Summer.
